Items sold by Fortune Automotive Design Inc. may not be legal for street use in all regions, provinces and/or states. It is the buyer’s responsibility to comply with applicable laws.

Buyer understands that due to strict safety crash guidelines, Fortune Automotive Design Inc. is not responsible or liable for any damages or possible injuries incurred upon possible accidents due to driver error, incorrect installations, bad judgment, or act of nature/God, Allah, Jehovah, etc. All products are intended for off-highway uses only, and should be used for their intended purposes only.

Fortune Automotive Design Inc. does not take responsibility over buyer installation, modification, and unusual stress of the products. The buyer assumes all responsibilities for determining the suitability of the products. Fortune Automotive Design Inc. is not responsible for any damages incurred either directly or indirectly on the vehicles or operators/passengers within the vehicles.

MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

Most of our items listed are defined as items that need to be made-to-order, items that are customized or one-offs, items that are non-refundable, or generally anything that is outside the bounds of normal stock.

This means that once the invoice or deposit is paid, they cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason. Once the order is placed, no changes can be made, so please review the specifications. All sales on special order items are final.

If you are dissatisfied with the item in any way such as appearance, functionality, etc. we will do everything it can to assist you in seeking assistance. Please take caution in your purchase as some items are not intended for use with overseas vehicle variants. We guarantee that all products we sell are genuine and in new condition unless explicitly marked as blemished or used. We cannot guarantee the exact fit of imported products on vehicles of different origins than the manufacturer’s intended use.

When placing an order, it is the customer’s responsibility to supply us with product numbers, and/or exact information identifying the product being purchased. Without exact details, provided at the time of order submission, we cannot be held responsible for fulfillment of a similar but not intended product.

Your order is not conditional upon guaranteed fitment.  Any disputes regarding incorrect product fulfillment must be filed within five days of product delivery and must be accompanied by written documentation supporting the claim. In all foreseeable times of potential miscommunication, we will contact our customers to verify the details of their order.

 

ESTIMATED LEAD TIMES

Estimated lead times provided for orders are estimates only.

While it isn’t common, delays can and do happen and a delay in the manufacturing or fulfillment of my order is not a valid reason to cancel.

Please be aware that many manufacturers do not provide updates on orders outside of major production milestones.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays beyond our control and will not incur damages due to such delays

 

CANCELLATIONS 

As most of our items listed are defined as items that need to be made-to-order, items that are customized or one-offs, items that are non-refundable, or generally anything that is outside the bounds of normal stock 

This means that once the invoice or deposit is paid, a confirmation email is delivered to you outlining the details of your order asks that if you would like the order to be cancelled you may do so by replying to the confirmation email within 1 business day of receipt.

Once the order is placed, no changes can be made, details will be sent to the manufacturer for processing and the order cannot be cancelled, so please review the specifications.

 

REFUNDS

All of our products are ordered on a pre-paid made-to-order basis or are not regularly stocked and are non-refundable.

Cancellations and/or refunds will be issued at our discretion and will be subject to a 30% fee.

Cancellation means you are cancelling an order 24 hours AFTER it has been placed and/or it has been submitted to our manufacturer for production and/or before it has left our facility.

Once the item has left our facility it is treated as a return. If we have already placed an order for a special order item it can not be cancelled.

Refunds are typically processed within 15-30 business days of approval.


INSTALLATION

All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process.

All carbon fiber products will not sustain heavy force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force or weight. Fortune Automotive Design Inc. has made an effort to produce all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation.

If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There are absolutely no returns on painted products.


SHIPPING DAMAGE

Fortune Automotive Design Inc. packs all products carefully to prevent damage during shipping. However, damage may still occur occasionally. Buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver's presence.

Buyer must retain all cartons, packing materials, and damaged products for the carrier's damage inspector to inspect. Do not refuse shipment or return it without approval, because the buyer's right to make a damage claim may be denied. A signed receipt without any notation indemnified the carrier as well as Fortune Automotive Design Inc. from any further damage claims.

Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer. All damages must be notified to carrier and the dealer within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notation on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to the distributor and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount should be addressed with the carrier.

Fortune Automotive Design Inc., under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.


DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

All products require professional installation. Minor adjustments might be necessary. These are normal body work and installation steps. Therefore it is NOT considered to be defective. In addition, most carbon fiber products are hand-crafted, and no two items will be identical. Small imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles, and clear coat blemishes are inevitable.

Pictures are required to demonstrate true defects on products prior to return. See below for information on our return policy.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted for 30 days after purchase. Items must be unused, in brand new condition and in unopened, original packaging. After 30 days we can not accept refunds or exchanges. Special orders cannot be returned.

There is no return for any parts that have been used, modified, painted, or installed.

All returned products are subject to a 30% restocking fee, plus return-shipment charges. Original shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Products returned must be in the original shipping carton in the same condition as it was originally delivered or shipped. Only the original buyer may request for a return of products. Defective items may be exchanged for the same item only.

Upon receipt of returned parts, Fortune Automotive Design Inc. shall inspect the parts to determine their exact condition. If Fortune Automotive Design Inc. does not accept the goods as being defective and/or returnable, buyer must accept any incurred costs.

All returns, regardless of the underlying reason, must be sent shipping prepaid. Any returns sent shipping collect or without RA number will be refused and returned to the buyer at his or her own expense. Shipping costs to and from the purchaser are not refundable.

Buyer is advised to insure the returned goods for their full value for his or her own protection. Otherwise, neither Fortune Automotive Design Inc. nor the shipping company would be responsible for any damage or loss in shipment. Refund will not be issued on returned products that are damaged on the way back to Fortune Automotive Design Inc.


Once your return is received and inspected, we'll send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and update you regarding the status of your refunds approval.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 7-14 business days.

 

SHIPPING ERRORS


If the consignee receives an incorrect item due to Fortune Automotive Design Inc. error, consignee must inform the dealer within 3 days of receipt of shipment. Fortune Automotive Design Inc. will then issue a Call Tag to pick up the incorrect item(s) and ship the correct item(s) at no additional charges.


CONTINGENCIES

Fortune Automotive Design Inc. shall not be liable for any failures to produce product to buyer when the cause of such failure is the result of the forces of nature, labor disputes, supplies or material shortage, acts of local, state, national, civil, or other authorities or public agencies; utility or communication failures, accidents, strikes, transportation problems, or any act or cause that does not normally occur in the ordinary course of Fortune Automotive Design Inc.'s business.

All parts shall remain the property of Fortune Automotive Design Inc. until paid in full.
